A friend of a friend shared a video in a Facebook group, apparently someone went through and put a bunch of logs and brush in the trails. Whoever did it, it’s looks to be on purpose.

Got out and did a little work this afternoon on yellow. The turn from the new trail to the existing yellow was too awkward. Also goes around the roots.

Park is riding well. Deadfall is removed. For those wondering the closed section but the meadow/Fire road, a version of that will be reopening. New trail will be open soon too, needs to be painted and mapped. Wed's night rides have started up again. Info is on Meet up, but generally 6PM...

Kick off the spring by helping us do some trail clean up from the winter. We have a a few new trails and some closures that have taken place over the winter. Meeting location will be added.

Mt Ellen closed for season and Heavens Gate chair is being replaced, starting today. Closed a ton to build a construction safety zone.

Anyone chasing snow this week? I think I may take friday and hit Gore or Killington now that sugarbush is 70% closed.

out of my core group of riding buddies, I was 1 of 2 skiers and we had 6 snowboarders in the bunch. Kids were the reason 2 of them went back to skiing. It seems dragging a kid around skis is a lot easier then having to step out and walk.
