the cars are shaped like a wing. this breaks the laminar flow of air reducing lift at the lightest part of the car.
I am a low level person when it comes to Tesla, but you know quite a bit. Are you leaning towards one? The Y Performance seems to be the only one reasonably available right now. Here's an interesting study on various Tesla components. They found a very large increase in high speed downforce with the stock spoiler deployed.

My wife is happy with the Model 3 Long Range (coming from an Acura).
Ha I don't know crap about them. @THATmanMANNY has owned several now. We will own one in the future. Plan for FL house is Tesla solar panels + battery backup. Will use the sun to charge the car.
Realistically, how many more driving years do you have?

'17 Acadia. "Steering Assist Reduced" and Temp Gauge pinned at 0.
All signs point to replacing Temperature Control Sensor. Massive driveway job pull intake. Fuck.
Nope. Find thread saying check battery terminals or replace battery for stored low voltage code and it all goes away. No issues now. Why you gotta be so complicated!

Apparently its a common problem in the XT5 too. There is a heat soak issue with a wiring harness in my XT5. Long trip, it will throw all different sorts of crap. Limp mode in the Mass mountains isn't fun.
Haven't moved/isolated the harness yet - so its on me.
As an aside, my wife blamed it on my aggressive driving. So she drove. Same result.
Yes, I agree 100%.Apparently the common problem is the XT5.
I guess that's a universal problem. Typically in my house its, when did your car start doing this? The response from her is typically, oh, never noticed it.

Your non wife doesnt do the same?
Yes, in this engine it's the location is crappyi mean crank position sensor shouldnt be an expensive part(i would expect <$100), figure out where its located. If its under the intake it could be an expensive (or time intensive if you DIY it) fix
