Is the inflated Bike market finally crashing?

Sort of interesting. I still can't get a road bike and we even picked up Scott bikes to sell through 2023 because road bikes will not be available. Yet MTB and E Bikes are a million percent off and we have 10 of every model and size 🤔

While the discounts are great, they're really just 2019 list pricing.

My buddy Dan ordered a Canyon Aerroad off the website last Tuesday and received it Saturday.

Makes me wonder if the market for ebikes is smaller than regular bikes. Most people buy bike store bikes because they enjoy the hobby and exercise.

Some people buy ebikes because they want to go fast and not pedal. They want to buy an $800 ebike

A person that that can afford (and want) a nice bike shop ebike but also value cycling as a hobby is very rare, these people are aging cyclists.

I don't work at a bike shop, how many 20 somethings are into e mountain biking?

Maybe consider selling non taiwan/china road bikes?

Is it me or does whoever wrote this article need to go back to school for a grammar lesson?

I would submit that the price of eggs has a minimal and very tenuous impact on "the inflated bike market," doe.

However, I am open to @Dave Taylor explaining his equating the cost of shipping containers from China with eggs and the two guys that liked the "egg" post can chime in, too.
