Dickerson Mine Endurnace Oct 29 2023

Rode the course today. I got twisted three times where I had to backtrack. Some spots were slicker than others. It will be interesting to see the course after 100+ riders where it was super muddy.

I was wondering if you thought of reversing this lollipop. Either way is fine.

That trail was designed to be ridden counter clockwise. Nice climb up up with a really good flowing downhill.

Ill be riding there today riding from around 10:30-1pm if anyone else is around

Riding a silver Timberjack with orange grips and pedals

The course and all the trails are riding great and not wet at all considering all the rain we have had every weekend. In fact it could use a little more dampness so the leaves don’t dry out and get slippery.

Started at around 10:15 and did a solo loop up Irish spring road and around blue. Came back down to meet @Superfly100guy at 11 and we did the course and some extra and rode until about 1:30.

That’s probably my longest MTB ride ever and despite one or two little bobbles and some quick walking sections (for my skill level) it went pretty well. I definitely need to hydrate better and fuel better next week didnt bonk or anything but could feel
It a little the last 30 minutes.

Ready as I can be for next week and hope to meet some of the gang here in person.

No that wasn’t me I did see that guy tho. I have a blue helmet for now and was wearing a Marty’s vest I was with Two other guys.

Ironically I have a new Orange helmet waiting for me at the shop that I didn’t pick up yet. Hope to have it for next weeks race.

730 am start I did 10.5 miles in 1hr 30 mins that was 1 loop starting from the parking lot next too the baseball field..15 mins in delays from all the stopping and checking my phone...too many wrong turns.

Could someone explain to me this process?

Event Start 9am!!! 3 hour timer starts 9am for everyone.

Knowing now the single track that starts the race, what is the organization going to be to avoid a cluster of riders at the start.
