What have you done to your bike today?

I wanted to lower my gravel bike stack height . Got in on a eBay auction that finally worked in my favor.
New 90mm 0 rise Thomson x4 $60

Frankenbike evolves.

New wheels and tires. New Dub bottom bracket, moved cranks and pedals over from other bikes. New handlebars, grips, and inner bar ends. Out front Garmin mount. New rear brake hose and drain plug (old plug leaked - much thanks to Pedal Sports in Oakland for having what I needed when I showed up unannounced), fresh bleed on both brakes and realigned calipers to rotors.

Started at 31.2 lb, ended at 27.5 lb

Now hoping I can just get out and ride the damn thing!

Couldn’t stand it any longer so I swapped out the Codes for a pair of Saints from the parts bin. SRAM brakes and I have a complicated relationship to put it nicely. But of course the rear brake hose was too short 🙄. One replacement hose later and all new fluid and we’re ready for the weekend😎.

Hopefully I remember to bed them in before I point it downhill. 😳
