Going legit...

There's a trailhead marker at Lot 7 with a map of the common trails. Expect more traffic. Doesn't bother me as I'm there early on weekdays but you weekend warriors will have company. St Joe's prep had an MTB class there a few weeks ago, too.

What do you mean by "Going legit"? St. Joe's prep has been riding there for awhile as most of the riders are from NJ, including the head coach.

That trailhead kiosk looks like it was build by trail users, not the college or township. Bad look for trail users if so.

Local NICA teams have been riding there for years, nothing new or concerning.

I’ve been riding there for over 30 years. Almost all of the trails(some cut by dirt bikes before the park was there and some by trail users) are on college property. As the landowners they’ve generously turned a blind eye to people riding/hiking/running on their property. They’ve allowed some official races/events, The Challenger and some NICA races there but that’s about as far as they would go for anything “official.”

This is at the Lot7 trailhead

Great information. I have the route on my Garmin, and it looks like spaghetti but to be honest I have only been there a few times. Are the trails marked any better?
There's another thread here complaining about the blazes, but they work for me. The red white and blue trails are blazed well. it's fun to explore and too small to really get lost.
