Hartshorne/Huber Conditions

I was there yesterday with my wife, it was a little moist, not to bad with a fat bike though. I'd say tomorrow should be fine.

So how much snow did Hartshorne get out of this storm?

I would say about 5'' of snow. I would bet its going to need some time to melt and dry out with all this warm weather/rain coming our way.

Yesterday morning Huber was frozen and 50% of the trails were clear.

Went this morning, it was still mostly frozen. I would bet that by now it's a swamp as there appeared to be lots of water around. On a positive note, most of the snow is gone.

Rode Hartshorne this morning. A few slick spots where the sun was hitting the trails, but 95% good to go.

Yep, both Hartshorne and Huber are nearly perfect, with just a few squishy spots here and there (the usual locations.) Lots of hikers, but that's not uncommon on weekends when the weather is this good.

I concur. Great riding today but lots of care needed to be taken around lots of hikers, dog walkers, and full families. Never saw so many people out......but great to see given the weather.

Interesting weather at Hartshorne today... the fog coming off the Navesink River was so thick that it was (very) lightly raining on part of Rocky Point. Trail conditions were excellent at both Hartshorne and Huber.

Just got back, in pretty good shape with minimal puddles. Bike stayed pretty much mud free...

Damn. I kept it to a 20 mile road ride today. Figured it'd be a wash out today. Oh well.
