Group Gravel Ride 3/7 Columbia Trail

It's actually dirt but very smooth.

Pro tip: do not run into steel I beams bordering road crossings.

So more paved than gravel then?

Hoping I can make this or even part of it due to kids basketball playoffs so I am a solid maybe.

I live 1 mile by road from the opposite end of the trailhead in Flanders. I have ridden the entire trail end to end many times (approx 30 miles ) with my old 26r MTB and even with my backup 10spd road bike with 700x 25cm tires and it’s been just fine.

So I would just say run whatcha brung or whatever you have more fun with.

Hope that helps anyone who’s never been there before.

FYI the High bridge parking lot is also where the pump track is I just don’t know if it’s ride-able.

Bring any bike you have, any gearing, any tires, any baskets, and beer in the baskets. You can ride flats or clipless, wear baggy or spandex, clear or amber lenses, don't need bug spray yet, kickstands ok for this (kind of...you'll be made fun of in secret, but this terrain is ok for the kind of a bike that might have a kickstand). If you forget to pump up your tires, you will still be ok.
