Had a friend over for a Social Distortion dinner on the deck.
There were other components, but steak- local Tesla flank:

Knowing I don’t do those, she surprised me with these:

Technically last nights dinner but

grilled lamb chops marinated with EVOO garlic rosemary salt pepper

shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta
Green beans garlic butter sauce and some good spices mix from “tastefully simple” company.
Washed it down with a Fat tire beer damn that was good.

if it looks like a lot of food please note inhave 2 teenagers and a 20 year old that rat everythjng in sight.

The lazy man’s standby:
Poachies and salmon, featuring local Tesla country loaf, local Tesla eggs and local Tesla arugula salad with a lemon vinaigrette. I’m sure the salmon is local to somewhere.

Tonight: local Tesla filets au poivre.
It was either this or bordelaise, after review of the recipes, lazy won out.
(No losers- either is yummy).

Pan is aflame, smoke detector goes off, dog loses his shit.

Punchline: wish we had gotten more- delicous, and we won’t see these again until August.
Sadly I told Mrs Manic to just get a couple....
Monday I go to the Tesla farm and I’m just gonna get like 8 each of whatever he has.
 
The king of sammiches is perfecting the classic turkey and swiss:

All boars head: imported Swiss, picante provolone, smoked peppercorn turkey, prosciutto on a roll. This iteration is on an onion roll, still think fresh hard roll is best. Dress with oil, vinegar, top with sliced hot peppers

Meats were from a new place until my guy gets his stock back up.

my Father’s Day request

Just laid this 6.5lb boneless lamb on the grill for slow cook Will take about 2 hours probably. Been marinating for 3 days in Kens brand Greek dressing.

will have her special oven roasted red potatoe bake and some spinach pies. Also got some
Shrimp soaking in a lemon butter marinade for pan grilling later.

I am so hungry right now but gotta wait and save room this lamb is gonna be off the hook.
