Yeah, I understood how you wanted me to install them, but with the hose coming straight out from under the stem I don't see how this could ever work to hold it?
So I played around with this a bunch last night. I couldn't come up with any solution that allowed the dropper to be removed (without removing the cable from the actuator) that didn't result in some hideous amount of excess cable up front. I guess it just is what it is with these bikes.
I'm setting up my daughter's Cannondale Scalpel and I need to install the dropper cable. Of course this bike has that new-fangled integrated headset. I'm curious how to handle the dropper cable length? On a "normal" bike I would just turn the bars straight with the dropped installed to seat...
There are a couple reasons to me that Mooch doesn't get much attention these days.
1. It's "hard". The riding is generally a notch or 2 above Stephens in both cardio and technical ability requirements.
