Absolutely go with Jeff at Dugans. He redid my entire 1957 Chevy, and is my go to with anything regarding my old cars. His attention to detail is excellent, and he actually cares about what he is doing like it is his own car.
I would have to check with them on the tandem....have never had one for them before....but the others are just what they are looking for...simple, cheap to repair if needed down the line, simple bikes to allow people to get to/from work, commute, etc.
We work with Ridewise here is Somerset county...they give them away free to those in need after we tune them up for them. If no other takers, you can drop them off here at the shop (in Somerville) and we will get them road ready and have Ridewise hook up the right people with them...
Our industry shot itself in the foot (again), and have to shoulder a big part of the blame for part of this. Seth says perfectly what we (at our shop) have been saying all along...."American Class 1 E-bikes are 750 watts, 3 times as powerful as pedelecs, and they cut out at 20 MPH instead of 15...
We have been selling the daylights out of the Trek version since they came out. All reports back from customers are very positive. Great stocking stuffers for $100!
We have the PI lobster gloves in large and 2xl, on sale for 40% off....non-lobster AmFib in large, xl, 2xl for 30% off....headed card on the lobster says good to 10D, AmFib says 15D...
Not a good look for the e-bike market when the big boys are not just struggling, but may go away...

We have the GX Eagle 12 Speed AXS upgrade kit...brand new in box...has the derailleur, shifter, charger, battery, and a cool multitool in the kit. Retail was about $650....I am sick of looking at them....$475 each...come get it...
We have been Giant dealers since day one, and had them for years while at Efingers....Also carry Trek and Cannondale, amongst others...Giant has suffered from this issue for years. They give some of the absolute best value for the money amongst the other brands, they are just BORING and do not...
These 2 rolled into the shop last week...(the pics are exactly as the walked in, we have done nothing to them yet)...
They were given to 2 young kids to ride around the farm with. Neither have functioning brakes, among other items that needed to be addressed. We ended up taking them in on trade...
