    This is one application for which the current wide-range gearing options are a genuine improvement over the “old days”. I did Mt. Washington in 1999 and 2000. We all put mountain bike cranks on our road bikes for the event back then. 🙄

    This thread just reminded me that I haven’t done a race since the final Cathedral Pines event in 2019 (really a “participation” effort, rather than actual “racing”) and I’ve been (and still am) paying for my annual USAC license through auto-renewal. 🙄

    XC Skiing Thompson Park Groomed Trails

    Got out to Thompson Park today for 5.5 miles of groomed track. Conditions were very good. Hoping to go again in the next few days, but the forecast temperatures Friday and Saturday are giving me some pause… Next week is looking a little more civil.
