Idk, I guess I had an older bike on it and never bothered spacing out the cassette and getting the shifting right so it wasn't as enjoyable as virtual. If I had the patience to put my actual bike on/off im sure it would be fine...

If that's the case, you need to upgrade the trainer. Virtual shifting is pretty good

+1 for using the Apple TV device. It's the only apple product I own, but it fixed my Zwift crashing issues.
