Both shoes that I have are goretex but I have’’t done any water-repellent treatment on them. I will add that extra protection on the next pair of shoes.

Wearing La Sportiva Ultraraport II hiking shoes. The threads are starting to look worn out so definitely in the market for new shoes, if folks want to recommend something for the winter or year around please send them my way. I also have La Sportiva trail running shoes.
