Are you referring to the previous generation carbon frame Skookum? The current AF is aluminum only and fairly new, carbon frame version is no more.

What issues does the Skookum purportedly have? Myself and another person here have skookum afs and no issues at all. Built mine myself and everything was great quality. Bbs are a little low so run short cranks or 275s.

Same here. Every Schwinn i got from Bernie's in Hamilton was registered with the PD. Every Schwinn i got from Bernie's in Hamilton was stolen. Every Schwinn i got from Bernie's in Hamilton was never recovered. Eventually i stopped getting Schwinn's from Bernie's in Hamilton (No fault of...

    Car-spotting thread

The temps ticked just over freezing to a delightfully tropical 35 degrees this afternoon so i thought it was a good idea to de-crust the truck. After beating the ice out the hose and thawing the power washer pump body with the heat gun, i was able to get access to that non-solid form of H2O we...

I'll be your Huckleberry. ;) As long as i got a couple other fatties on my wing, we'll get er done. 😆 Worried about the re-freeze though. that may lock in the ice for a bit longer...

I'm telling you, we just need 6-8 riders and we can steamroll any trail into submission. Ride in a tight V formation to trample down a 1-2' wide swath and rotate out the lead riders and boom, you got trails.

I'll go... On my way back home yesterday, i cut through Colliers Mills WMA and it was clear enough to get some miles in. Success rd (that goes end to end) was paved from the new egypt side to the lake and would be ridable on gravel or MTB. From the lake to Jackson was well trampled by trucks...

So here we are, trails firmly encrusted in a thick and seemingly impenetrable icy arctic tundra and with sub freezing temps unrelenting for the foreseeable future, we're all fiending for any stretch of that mythical ridable trail. So post up if you know if someplace with viable length of...

Need Roofer in the Ringwood area (new roofs).

Also, from the research i had done, in terms of quality Certainteed > Owens corning > GAF. But this also depends on the product tier you choose. GAF must have the highest profit margins because most run of the mill contractors seem to want to use that. Better contractors will offer the other...

Need Roofer in the Ringwood area (new roofs).

Beware the "Storm Chaser" roofing companies that will canvas an area looking for insurance jobs (usually after a wind/hail storm). I had 1 pop by last year after a "hail" event and they got my elderly next door neighbor on that one. I humored them to see what it would cost and was aghast at the...
