A lot of small branches everywhere but no big trees. It looked like the rangers have been doing a lot of cutting. It was interesting that the Center Connector was actually muddier on top than the bottom. I guess the snow took longer to melt higher up.

I didn't do those. I cleared the lower trail to pipeline. Cleared 3 Amigos to the bridge on Chunky Monkey. Then did Montezuma down Center Connector.

I can go there today. I know the northern part of Chunky Monkey holds a lot of water... any other requests?

I use a hair dryer to assist with cold weather drip wax. I'll spend a couple minutes preheating the chain and then a few more after the wax is on.

Can park rangers actually write people tickets? Allaire is a place you need to be careful out of the summer season. A very crowded state park and the Park Police get bored in the off months.

That law specifically says "public Highway" so maybe there a technicality to get out of it since we would be on trails or parking lots.

Until recently I would have agreed with you. However, this fall the Park Police gave me a ticket at Round Valley for Windsurfing without a USCG approved lifevest. Keep in mind I was wearing a lifevest designed for windsurfing and also a helmet and full body wet-suit. On top of that the ticket...

I rode today. Upper mountain is in great shape. The lower mountain is sloppy, but if you climb the C trail you can stay pretty clean.

your list basically sums up my life... except I never really got that fat. But the sports I do now are what I did in my teens and there is that gap from age 20-30.

Killington likes to hype up their 100 Day Club. But in reality, if you made the 100 Day Club you're also in the Skied 70 Shitty Days Club. You get a T-Shirt though...

I would also add that hot weather riding is WAY more enjoyable on an emtb. The extra breeze you get climbing at 10mph instead of 4 makes a big difference. I also don't go to downhill parks quite as much now because I get some of that speed stoke from the ebike.

Readington isn't a great IPA place but their European style beers are all pretty good if you like those styles.
