Cheers! Paul's the man and he did a great job on the buildup. I'm usually over there on Saturdays for the Mountain Espresso ride too. This bike was actually a shop demo bike that he offered to sell me after we discovered Rodeo Labs was sold out of 54cm Flaanimals until Q1 '26.

I guess since we're sharing gravel bike pics, here's my Rodeo Labs Flaanimal 5.0. Built this up last year with Paper Trail over in Philly. GRX 12 speed (10-51), Spinergy GX wheels, and 45c Gravelking X1's. Super fun bike, feels way more compliant and capable than my last gravel bike (On One Rujo).

Stupid ass law. Hopefully this is as well enforced as the class 3 "law", but I suspect now that they can blanket e-bikes under one umbrella they'll use it as an excuse to harass riders.

I keep telling people the same thing over the proposed license and insurance requirements. It's not going to stop someone who's already ignoring existing laws (riding wrong direction, running reds, sidewalk riding, etc.) and completely up to whether they enforce it or not. (imo it's not a good...
