I knew not to go for the 75 and was happy to do the 50. I wanted to use this to help my fitness, not end my season. I pedaled my fat ass up all the hills and had a great time. One of the best run events I’ve ever been to. Aid stations were awesome and you can’t top the velodrome finish!

I was there yesterday, and it was a little wet in some spots, but not really anything of note. There were MANY trees down. I did Newmans to red behind the guard rail to yellow to something or other, and there were easily 12+ trees down that others have accounted for nicely. I don't ride often...

You could search the Lucky's Revenge Loops to see what's out there. I hear that loop was pretty interesting.

I need to get to Gore next season. I read NY state has a free program for 3, 4, and 5th graders that I want to take advantage of so Gore is the top of my list.

I'm interested if this falls though.

I was on the edge of getting the full Ikon but we haven't been able to gets up to NY/VT much or out west YET(I do have SLC and Jackson Hole connections that I need to use soon). We did Killington this year and they definitely want to go back, but it would probably be only one or two weekends...

What are y’all doing for passes next season? I bought the season pass for Blue since the kids are so damn cheap and the vip line is great for weekends. I’m thinking of doing an Ikon session pass since we will only get to VT maybe once or twice next winter. We’d do killington for two weekends...

I'm more excited for the event because of this... I'll bring the gummy sharks.

Kids and I made it to Elk today. Snow was great most of the day but it started to get really wet towards the end. I had never been a good mogul skier, but I think I prefer icy moguls to slushy moguls.

I'm eyeing up a spot in Lewis Morris that I may have my kids test out. They can ski down and I can bring them up via truck if possible. Will report back if this happens.

Went to Blue this morning and to our surprise, the crowds weren't that bad, and I didn't witness any fistfights! Snow was incredibly good, and the little bit of fluff that fell overnight was hero snow. We were all over the mountain, and we had a blast. Out by 1 and had a great nap.

Thanks for all the insider info, but somehow I nailed most of this by luck. I parked in that lot, hit the automated kiosk, and was in line for the first chair at 8:12. The lift started spinning at 8:30, and I skied the whole mountain and was out by 1:30. The snow was amazing. I think I found...
