She was. While the Dr. had given me the OK to drive again the day before, he thought it better that I'd avoid the non-stop traffic. We allowed 2 hours, took 2:15. Luckily there was a cocktail hour first. That drive sucks. And, we get to do it again tomorrow as we have to be on LI.

yea, it was initially because we bought the house before we got married, and had both established ourselves individually, needed some way to fairly pay for joint expenses without hindering independence. Ended up keeping it after marriage bc it just works.

The only issue is I haven't figured out how to get beer to be part of the family grocery budget... It really impacts my ability to build up my allowance

U do the grocery shopping and u do it where they sell beer. Big receipt, no audits.
