Jorba Group Ride Clayton Sunday 3/22/2026

Super nice seeing everyone out there this morning! I can’t get over that new Re-route section of trail you folks put in. It’s fantastic!!!!👏. Just wish my rear brake didn’t spew its guts up all over the rotor and pads. 😵‍💫.

Upon inspection, it seems the bolt securing the banjo fitting must’ve loosened a smidge (probably snagged the hose on something last ride) and the pressure overwhelmed the tiny o-ring. Simple enough to tend to. Heck, having it happen mid-ride mere yards from the lot is kinda hard to cry about it. 😊.

*edit
Found the culprit. Caliper side Banjo O-Ring was worn out and when the hose moved… it got pinched.

Scavenged a replacement ring from an old hose. 😇

Great ride today, this was the perfect kick off to the Jorba Group Ride Series.
The trails were hero dirt with super grip on the turns, we hit Toboggan 3x, it was that much fun. Jorba rep Matt D did a great job with volunteers on reroute this past Wednesday, that section rode much nicer.

Thank you hot lap ride leader Serena and sweepers @Matt_ & @Purl . Thank you George for sweeping as well.

We will be back at it next month, April 18th at Perrineville. Come ride the trails everyone is talking about and meet the volunteer crew responsible for this flo park. Details to follow.

Cheers,
Iggy

Happy to see you all enjoyed the new section. Our awesome volunteers worked their tails off for two hours last Wednesday chasing sunset.... We wanted to make it ride as best we could with the limited time we had.

We'll be working on refining it during the next few trail sessions. Always looking for more helping hands if anyone wants to come dig with us 🤘
