Thanks for clearing Rogue! That's a tougher trail for me, so I'm quite happy to not have to visit it. With that clearing, Deer Park is all caught up with chainsaw ops as far as I know. Anything you come across now has either been missed or is new.

I did a 3.5 hour thrust in Deer Park today. Fun to run into @Fat Trout over on the Deer Path trail, savagely brushing things back! Nice Job and sorry I scared you! LOL. I was chasing after 2 targets there, but he beat me to ‘em. Tough to make a solid report on what I did today, because...

"A" was, by far the much more severe overgrowth. I recall "B" being fairly wide open. Thanks!!!

I wouldn't really advise. I suspect It'd be just too much of an effort to move that thing around. The overgrowth is more from the sides, not the ground. So a pole trimmer much better choice...The trail is unmarked in Trailforks but you can see a hint of it on the heatmaps...

If anyone ever happens to drag a stihl pole trimmer deep into the park, I'd make a special request to brushback this little-used corridor.. Just for me! ;) I use it occasionally when accessing blowdowns from the Natalie drive lot, which saves a lot of effort. I was there a month or so ago...

Today I stood at the NICA blockage with the MS192 saw that wouldn't cooperate.. Mission aborted!!. I'll be back with the MS 260.

Be advised my next cut opportunity will be after Aug 4th. I've been sidelined by a summer bug that just doesn't seem to quit. And I'm out of town thru the weekend. Hang in there!
