Newer trails (green?) were greasy by 11am. But overall rideable .

Trails in good shape yesterday morning. Mostly frozen, with some softening spots and plenty of frozen ruts . Does anyone know what this is and where the trail goes? Near the water tower is this barrier with a ‘gate’ . The trail continues on the other side. Private property I guess?

CT was super icy today. Managed on the fat bike with low tire pressure but still sketchy and not fun. At least the beer at Long Valley Brew Pub was cold .

Very icy today. Probably like most of north jersey. Was manageable Riding the fat bike and low pressure , but not that much fun.

I’ve wanted a fat bike for a few years now for riding on snow and sand. Nothing fancy. In November I picked up this Salsa Mukluk from @ilnadi. Had some issues with the tubeless tires, but all good now. I’m having a blast riding it, and feel like a kid on my bmx bike!

Great conditions yesterday afternoon. The new sections on blue and green really riding well! The tree on red was still there (didn't get to orange) but it's hop-able. And I think there is a temporary fix for the orange tree to make that rideable as well.

Brutal story and thanks for sharing. Hope he can recover enough for a decent quality of life. I am really interested to know more details about these crashes that lead to spinal injuries. So many at Whistler, I wonder how many others were at lift-access parks? How many were from jumps or...

Lost Sunglasses on Yellow Trail: my buddy lost a pair of blue sunglasses on the yellow trail yesterday. The section is "Lemon Twist " on Strava. It's the flowy trail from Millers Lane to the eastern side of the four way intersection. Please let me know if spotted. Thanks!

Great conditions today . There was some dampness on ballfields and black trails, even though hasn’t rained in a while. Guess it’s that time of year.

Great conditions at Tourne today. Leaves have started coming down but not bad yet. After work ride ended early with sunset at 630. 😢
