Resurrecting this thread for the hell of it. I went down candy ass today after clearing some trees on cardiac. CA is rideable the whole way. there were 2 tree spots that I cleared near the exit. I cleaned up the worst of some overgrowth as best I could given I had a bike and chainsaw pack...

I cleared 3 trees off of cardiac (purple) today from the 517 trail head up to the top. I also took a trip down candy ass. there were 2 sets of trees right before the exit, otherwise clear on trees. Other than that I know of: 1 on the upper leg of the orange loop 1 as pictured above heading...

yup...had one of those in the lip deals in Deer Park on a downhill. In minutes my face felt huge and I wasn't sure when/where the swelling would stop. It was fine but I got spooked enough that I carry Benadryl in my pack now.

I'm hearing from @chainsawer that he was advised of a tree down in a dangerous spot part way down Rollie Pollie. @mattybfat and I went through bypass and over top of cardiac but didn't hit that. It might be a few days before anyone can get to that so be careful.

Riding the park and pruning / clearing small stuff with a hand saw or dragging off if possible is welcomed. The park managers are picky about who uses power tools so best in that case to post what you see (and where it is) for anything bigger. We'll all try to get it addressed! If you aren't...
