I'm stoked to be riding to the race again...100 miles 10K elevation from West Hartford CT to the venue. This year being what it is, I'm running 34x20 while sipping a flask. Expecting fun and hugs...no more, no less.

Approx 150 ppl showed for his memorial ride... We brought his cooler and drank / shared his beers (he LOVED good beer). People came from far and wide...his family spoke. All the while there was a ride happened in his honor down south. Hug your loved ones...hold the tight. You never know when...

Great seeing everyone! Though I didn't get to chat with soo many of you, I was shelled. I shoulda put the 18 on. 34x17 was stupid big, especially after Saturdays adventure.

the winners traditionally run 34:16... I'm going to ride from Hartford using a 34:17, and decide once I'm behind the shop a few beers in.

@pearl W101 is special and the vibes here make it an event....we of course feed into that and help fuel that fire. I'm glad you had fun. One year head down to Shen for the SM100, it's way FCKN awesome. Mohican 100 is a track you'd do really well on, super fun singletrack though it conflicts...
