At what speed is safe to drive this car?
Ex-post analysis indicates that this car was not any more dangerous than others of the time....
Ralph just needed an easy target.
The turbo model produced 180hp. At less than 2,500 lbs, it would have been a bit more fun.

The unsafe ones were pre-'65. They redesigned the rear suspension to address the rollover concerns.
