2023 Mountain Man

Anyone have experience on the run portion of this race. I have done lots of loops on my bike at Lewis Morris but never ran there. Is it the run super hilly? I have only been running on the road but would like to give this a try.

I did it in 2020, the elevation was ~200 ft over the ~1.8 mile run. If the course is the same it was out Green-back Red until it meets Doe Meadow Rd. and back to the start. Pretty much all front loaded climb.

The return path has changed since 2020 because of trail changes from Doe Meadow road down to the pavilion - it is a more gradual descent now.....

Thanks all. I have been running on the road with similar elevation change but really have to try the trail to make sure I can do it. If things ever dry out.
