2024 Tour de France thread

i like to scope out the route and look at the crazy climbs, then suddenly i kept clicking next and next and realized this:

"Due to the Olympic and Paralympic Games taking place in Paris, the race will not finish in the French capital for the first time."
Yup. And the last day is an ITT up col D’Eze.l and into Nice. So cool.

wow, great stage, little bit of a surprise at the finish, CN approves

Saturday and Sunday's stages look rough, is someone smart enough to know which of the top contenders it favors?

Anyone care?

It sucks that Sepp Kuss is out, but maybe that evens the playing field a bit for UAE? I haven’t followed road cycling much this year other than the classics so I don’t know how stacked that team ((VLAB? is.

Regardless , Let’s go Tadej for the GC. Jonas reminds me of Gollum from LOTR.

Just found this thread today. Loving it so far this year! I don't have Peacock and am not much of a TV person anyway (actually don't have one in my house) but have been watching youtube coverage every night to see what went down each day. Kind of avoiding the last page here just so today's result isn't spoiled for me but it's kind of hard to navigate the internet or youtube to watch the last kilometer without seeing a spoiler first anyway.
