6 Mile Run Conditions

I see 2 posts saying conditions are awesome and the rest about ruts, all posted today. Is it good or bad? Planning to ride before work tomorrow.

It'll be fine, there'll be some dry ruts.

Did some digging on Monday and there was standing water in spots I haven’t seen water in a long time

After the deluge over the weekend, there's been intermittent rain throughout the region, including today. Given that this place doesn't handle rain all that great traditionally, I think it's best to avoid until next week. Allaire might be a decent choice, but I saw it's raining there as well.

Good a day as any for PM work or a trainer ride.

I stopped by Jaques lane lot half an hour ago, the trails were wet.

I would imagine it would still be pretty mushy, but I’m sure the parking lot will be packed.

Can confirm. Aside from the usual spots on lower blue, the canal rd side is good to go....until the rain tomorrow.

I rode the canal side yesterday morning. Some wet spots in the corners but tacky. Worse spot was just before the steel bridge.

Id say hit it until it rains.

Rode the canal side of six mile today. It was true Hero Dirt this morning. Only a few small water issues. The trails are starting to get a little overgrown. The blue trail may need some trimming. Otherwise great morning ride!

Memorial Day Trim Session 5/29/23

**Weather Pending** Looking to put together a group trim / TM session Monday Morning 5/29/23 - Memorial Day. Early Start like 8AM to about 11am. Have some JORBA equipment but if you have hand trimmers or battery powered stuff it would be a home run. Post up if you're available.

Conditions were prime. Go get some!

However the lack of helmet use by riders is astounding.and sad.

Primo conditions and too many riders without helmets!
Also, recommend wearing sleeves here. Quite a bit of Poison ivy on trees sticking out into the trail.
