So, what's the status of this "little loop"? It's on privately owned land I'm assuming. If the owners give up (sounds like they won't) and the land becomes public somehow, it'll probably just get added to the inventory of places in Essex County where we can't ride.

I'd guess the township buys it, not the county so no... Not necessarily.
