Anyone got kids shotgun seat they are looking to get rid of?

Fwiw, I had the 1st version shotgun seat that clamped to the frame. I always had concerns it could damage the top tube where it put pressure directly on it since the carbon was kinda thin there. Nothing ever happened but it could depending on the bike and kid weight. I think they realized this when designing version 2 that copied the Mac ride system of suspending between the seat tube and steerer tube with no frame contact. Just something to consider if it's applicable to your situation.

I should clarify, the non-contact "pro" version is more desirable for a carbon frame since they have something called version 2.0 which is still frame mounted.

I had her on a steerer tube mounted Thule seat last year and she’s outgrown that one so looking to get this one now

My daughter loves to ride with me on her Kids Ride Shotgun. But I agree with the above - I'm always nervous about its contact with my carbon frame, especially as she gets bigger. Get the steerer-to-seat version if possible.
