Anybody use this brand to remove the haze off old light lens? Recall @rlb doing it years ago. How long does it last and how does it hold up to continued UV damage?View attachment 236253

I used this Turtle Wax kit a few years ago with what I thought was decent results. This car is long gone, but it held up for at least the next year that I had the car.

It’s really just a buffing compound, if you wanna get fancy you can use some light 2000-3000 grit and wet sand some before buffing. Unfortunately the UV is gone so it’ll come back but takes a little while. You’d have to clear over the lens to keep it from returning. Still only like 5 minutes worth of work to make a significant improvement and you can do it over and over.

I used the Harbor Freight kit and it worked fine. I put a cheap ceramic coat (Last Coat) on it and it seems to be lasting ok on my MILs car.

I used Maguiar's PlastX, it was quick & easy to apply & worked well.

+1 for Maguiars plastx , have used it more then a few time and have had very good results. Plus it's simple to use
