ATTN: Garmin watch + iPhone users.

FYI it seems like I among others who have an iPhone and a Garmin watch are experiencing an issue where your phone alarm does not indicate and alert on your watch. This seems to be happening to people who have upgraded their phones to iOS 26. So if you don’t wanna lose this feature I wouldn’t upgrade yet.

My Samsung Galaxy Android doesn't do that with my Garmin Fenix 7. Usually set an alarm on phone or the watch or both for backup.

As someone newer to the iOS world I’ve noticed the break a ton of crap upon new releases, then spend 1/2 a year fixing it just to break more in the next release. The iOS 26 update is pretty substantial so I’m waiting a while!

I didnt know you could do that since I typically set an alarm direct on my watch as my "primary" alarm since its silent, and if I really need to be sure I am up on time I set a separate alarm or 2 on the iphone for 5-10 minutes later.

good to know tho and yes even as an IT professional I am waiting to update to the latest iOS version on my iphone anyway.
