Not sure where to post this or if it's already known...

I was just sessioning the flow trails, and on the way up a bear ran across the path, jump on a tree. I probably scared the bear. It looked full grown.

I am still here at the entrance. Should I put up the chain and temp close sign?

i am NOT the expert or one in charge here... but might be a good idea? can you attach a note that says "bear sighted @ time/date" ?

a lot of kids ride over there.

Def no reason to close the trails. A sign at the entrance notifying the public of possible hazards would be the only solution.

I left a warning sign with date and time.
thanks for leaving a note to warn people...

yes... bears are a common thing in the woods but i know i want to be alerted to one when they're in the area. i think the rest of these peeps would toss an IPA at me and let me figure it out on my own.

Next time you ride Stephens, there will be a bear or bears there.
You may not see them but they are there. 😊
And every time I see one, I think every stump I see for the rest of the ride is a bear! The scariest thing is how they just disappear. Makes you think they are everywhere!
