It does look like an older Porsche binnacle, but the 914 had 3 round gauges and this one has 5, so maybe a 912?
this particular 912 was restored by our current team lead in his garage, including all the paint and body work (hes retiring this week so got it done just in time to enjoy it)As someone who owned cars with the 85mph speedometers, they're definitely better than regular speedometers. I owned two cars with 85mph speedos during my college years when I'd regularly go back and forth between Buffalo and LI. Was fun trying to keep them above 85 for as much of the trip as possible.As someone who owned cars with the 85mph speedometers, they're definitely better than regular speedometers. Much easier to read.
It's kind of a farce having 0-140mph gauges in a generic car.
