Looking to sell my dry condition CX race dress shoes. Specs below:
Chris King R45d Hub-set
28 Hole
100mmF/135mmR
9mmQR end caps (alternate through axle end caps available through Chris King!)
Light Bicycle 38mm deep x 23mm wide Carbon Tubular rims
DT Swiss Revolution Spokes
DT Swiss Brass Nipples
Clement MXP 33mm "tubeless" TUBULAR tires. (should be re-glued)
Sram 160mm rotors
Skewers included.
Tastefully black on black on black on black on black.
I built this wheelset in 2017 when I built out my custom Stanridge CX. I raced 8 races on these wheels and can honestly say they never saw mud, just minor splatter and truly nothing significant to the hubs. Being my race wheels they never saw any other ride time besides those races. By Chris King spec, they're probably not even properly broken in yet. They've been closet kept since I stepped away from racing in 2017.
I spec'd these to be race wheels that are light but not without compromising strength. I had over 80 races on different light bicycle hoop sets with this setup and believe that these are the only carbon rims anyone who is buying their own wheels should be racing. The cost/weight/strength is excellent. King hubs are fully serviceable and brass nipples don't lock up the same was aluminum nipples do. 3X lacing for added strength.
Asking $600, cash, pickup in Morristown NJ.
