Vote to change this category to "here's your favorite vice". Every time I go to JR the selection is too much. In a good year I might have 8 cigars and over $10 per is too steep. I generally prefer the darker side, excalibur, and this past weekend the partagas 1845. Any suggestions on some dark and flavorful brands or types to try? And what do you like?

Illusione MJ12 would be my go to, their 88 is nice as well.

I used to be pretty into it, but haven't had one for 9 months or so.

And with all this Cuba crap going on I haven't heard much about the "famous" cubans. Most of the places probably moved to DR long time ago anyway.

I traveled a lot over the past couple of years and had good luck with monticristo #2's as well as the Cohiba Siglo VI. I would highly recommend either, then again you may not be what I am into. Generally I prefer a 52-60 ring and a 5-6" stick (with exception to bigger smokes like the monte 2 or illusione 888), big flavor, although I am not always down to tackle a maduro.

Some of the cheaper Cubans are so mass produced, it is hard to control quality. They become hit or miss. On the other end, some are so expensive they are just not worth it (at least to me).

Never heard of those, also picked up a perdomo 20th anniversary on my last trip for something new. Also forgot to mention the partagas 1845 is my current all time favorite.

Some of the partagas are flavor monsters. Definitely some good smokes.
