I noticed the Rogue trail has disappeared from the Trailforks map. Just rode it on Saturday and it was on the map then. Did something happen between now and then?

@Apache1 marked it unsanctioned again.
which it is.
Perhaps there can be a day when someone takes the keys away from someone who stepped away. Same for allamuchy north. those blanket condition changes that happen (separately) wipe any visiblity of reports I might be able to see that tell me where down trees are that folks not affiliated with MTBNJ might post. @Norm @mattybfat how about the folks currently with Jorba take care of Jorba things vs other.

Jorba would never support an unsanctioned trail. They could support the process to get it sanctioned tho.

Windslut complained when I bulk cleared the bulk closures!

@Bleeder is the NJ head admin for TF.

I wish I could help but he keeps insisting on being who he is. Tiger and stripes and that shit. I don’t have any control there.

Understood and of course thanks for what you do. I assume you can't just have anyone have admin access to certain trailforks locations. I'll set Rouge aside, not my thing to argue given its current official "designation". The blanket changes to park conditions is an overall negative I feel. Individual user reports of potential value for users (or me as per my comment) get wiped from visiblity. It all cycles from green to red to yellow and back to all green every time it rains. It didn't use to happen. seems like a more last 2 years kind of thing. @Bleeder per @Patrick comment. Thoughts here on having appropriate admin access "adjustment" for the sake of best user value of said resource (trailforks in this case)?

I can't believe this trail is still a battle with the previous regimes. This was once settled going back to when @mergs was president in the old parking lot 17 years ago. I know because I was there for it. For a split second my plumber friend was granted DP chapter lead and was told to reroute the steep rock run. Unfortunately he dropped the ball and stopped riding all together. This was top on my list after encroachment. Personally not gonna be happy if I have the previous chapter lead stepping on my autonomy. Hopefully powers that be can control the brazen interference of moving forward.

In truth, I do not know that much about TF admin duties. @KenS and I are looking into the the issues surrounding overall TF admin and admin for Mooch (all sections). With a new Chapter Leader for DP and likely a new person to be named as Chapter Leader for the rest of Mooch (among other parks) this needs to be addressed in the near future. I will say that this is not our top priority due to that we have a bunch of other mission critical problems to solve first. But we will do our best to address in a timely manner.

Just ask @Bleeder to make me the NJ admin and I’ll handle this short-term.

I do want to make it clear that if the trail is not sanctioned by the park then it should be marked unsanctioned in TF regardless of if people think it is the best trail in the park or what @mergs said 17 yrs ago. Sorry @mergs; love you man. JORBA can work with the park to adopt the trail in the future. The park has the final word on sanctioning or not sanctioning a trail, period.
