Deer Park Trail Maintenance - Sunday 8/23

Deer Park trail maintenance this Sunday 8/23 between 8:30 - 12:30PM.

We will be parking at the second parking lot on Deer Park Rd. off Rt. 517 ( https://goo.gl/maps/ML2I8 )with the goal of cutting back the growth on the Yellow/Blue/White trails. Please bring water, bug spray and work gloves if you have them.

There will be bagels for those who RSVP (so we know how many tools to bring).

Was out late yesterday afternoon for a quick loop. The TM crew did a great job clearing the White from the dam to the fire road. This trial needed a ton of work with the overgrowth....it is clear sailing now. There were other areas addressed as well, but this was the most significant. Overall, the park is in great shape with a couple of minor items that are on the radar to address.
