Just built a new cross bike and having issues with aligning the deraillers. I'm using an ultegra front and rear with a 8 speed cassette. No matter how I adjust the front derailler there is chain rub going up or down. There's 1 gear that actually doesnt rub.
Could it be that the cassette and the chain are two wide? I assume the cassettes would all be the same width but with narrower spreads to add more sprockets and a narrower chain.
If thats the case, what's a good cassette/ chain to run on a 53/39 front to race cross with?
