DT Swiss FR600 + Maxxis DTH 2.1 won’t hold air for s&&t! What’s up?

I had issue with tubeless before but it was due to poor tape installation on my part. I can’t get this set of DJ wheels/tires hold air, both rims and tires are tubeless ready and brand new but they leak all around the sealing (not so much) lips. Most of the time when I installed a new set of tires they pop and voila’ they’re sealed, these popped all right but then the slow leak all around the lip…any idea short of using tubes?

Try again tomorrow with the wheels laid flat on buckets, flip over after half a day. Worked for me before and think the sealant drying a little might have helped. Which sealant you using?

WPL, plant based. I can’t stand the goop ball that Stan’s turns into. I use it on all bikes and seems to work. I’ll give that I try. Thanks.

Have you tried cleaning out all of the sealant, removing the valves, and installing tubes?
It was next. This thing still gets me buffled though. I actually don't see anywhere that the DTH tire is tubeless so...duh!

Also, I don't really like these tires, I maybe switching to some Ikons later.

DTH isn't a tubeless tire, right?

I see no TR's on the sidewalls

I could not find any indication that DTHs are tubeless either on Maxxis website or anywhere, to the contrary of what I was convinced of reading 'somewhere'. I've already removed the sealant and cleaned both the tires and the wheels and tubes are ready to go in as soon as I can spare a few minutes.
