First time at Kingdom in VT…

My friend and are going up to Kingdom trails in early June for a few days.

Just wondering what trails or particular routes (must see) are recommended for new comers to the area?

It seems as though the most technical riding is at the park on the east side of town but is there any other natural technical riding in the other areas?

And what are some recommendations for food?

Appreciate the input, whatever it may entail!

Thanks

There's mild tech there, but it's not what you're going there for 99% of the time. It's a huge endless system of the smoothest flow you'll find, and it's awesome. Standouts for me are: Black Bear (And Stormin Norman), Sidewinder, the backyard trails behind the Wildflower Inn, New T, and Moose Alley

If Burke is open by then you can take the shuttle up to Rude Awakening or Upper J Bar which are pretty ridiculous DH tech. Otherwise their "tech" is mild roots. I haven't been but I hear Victory Hill has some tech as well.

June in killington? Peak black fly season, bring the bug spray. Also, don’t be me, refill your tire sealant before you go. Maybe bring a backup tire and check your brake pads. Don’t ask how I know this🙄
