Frenchtown Preserve Conditions

Tree down on Blue, near red arrow highlighted. Mid size, chainsaw needed. Otherwise trails are the best I've ever seen them. Thanks to the trail keepers. Much appreciated 🙏

Rode here late afternoon on fatbike. Frozen with great traction, not slippery at all on the fatbike.

Some sections had significant frozen frost heaved footprints, like someone was hiking and/or dog walking when it was wet/muddy and left their mark. Was most prevalent on red.

It's a fun little trail system. Right now fat tires or e- assist would be best . If you rode the trails in both directions you can get a good ride in. Someone did a little cross country skiing, so some of the trails are packed a bit. I did 12 miles there on this day.

Planning to ride the fatty out there tomorrow night. First ride since recovering from pneumonia, hopefully my lungs hold out. What tire pressure you run? I was thinking 4psi... but I'm new to fatty riding so I don't know what's good in this kind of snow.
