Maybe some of you old timers know Aaron Chase? He’s an OG local pro who I used to ride with back in the day. Anyway, his brother Paul (who was a pretty damn good dirt jumper) owns a gas station in Somerset county. I ran into him the other day getting gas. He pointed me to a pump on the side of his garage that they use for repair jobs and employees. I got to fill up for $2.59, which is a bargain these days! He said if I had any MTB friend’s who wanted to roll through, he’d offer them the same pump. You just need to ask for Paul.

Message me and I’ll give you the location. I don’t want to post it up and overwhelm him with a bunch of cheapskates. 😂

I don't like lines. I would go somewhere else and pay more. My Chi tea latte cost more than a gal. of gas. Where it will hurt more is for food, farmers, and other supply chain supplies costing more.

The line for Costco gas is always ridiculous regardless and its only a few cents difference. You probably burn up the savings just wasting time idling in line. if its more than 3 cars long, i skip it as they are always understaffed.

IDLING! EGG-ZACTLY! WHY? For some reason every service truck, private or municipal, and people on lines or waiting for kids coming out of school KEEP THEIR ENGINES RUNNING, REGARDLESS OF WEATHER CONDITIONS! Imagine how much gas and fossil fuel the GLOBE would save if everyone just turned off their engines! Of course if it's 90 degrees, or 30 degrees. But still. There oughta be a law! C'mon world. Let's all shut it off!

Former Exxon Mobil engineers told me never buy Costco annd only buy product with the best additive package - ExxonMobil, Shell, Sunoco. He added that this doesn’t really matter unless you care about your engine.

Back before Aaron Chase was Aaron Chase I was in a rental house with him and some other friends at the Mount Snow NORBA nationals race weekend. He literally sat and watched Beavis and Butthead all weekend long like 4 feet in front of the TV while everyone else was trying to make his bike rideable. The big discussion of the weekend was that he had won a bike in race the week before and didn't realize that he would owe taxes on that.

He then went out and beat John Tomac in the Dual Slalom and everyone lost their shit.
