Gnat solutions

What's everyone using to keep these gnats from dive bombing your face? I'm at my wits end lately, typically make it half way around and then its nonstop pedal, swat, pedal, swat. send help

Turbo on the e-bike works but that's not ideal most of the time.

Supposedly essential oils like lavender, peppermint, and lemon, as well as citronella can deter gnats. I'll have to see if the Other Half has any of that stuff lying around her cauldron.

I try a neck fan pointed up or at my face but have to admit mixed success at best

good suggestions, ive used a natural citronella stick that you rub on (its in a chapstick like container) and that didnt work. the sawyer lotion seemed to help but not stop.

Had decent success with this "Green Beret Spray" has a hempish scent and doesn't last more than 1hr riding time.
They use it down here for greenheads and no seem's

Nice, I recently tried cutter lemon eucalyptus and seemed to do a good job. I’ll give it another try this week but was a drastic improvement
