Here's the product page: https://www.goldenear.com/subwoofers/supersub-series/supersub-x
We're moving to Europe where the current is 220V and this powered sub is 110V only. Of course, I can buy a step-down transformer, which is still an attractive option because I love this sub. But the transformer will take up space, which is limited where we are going. When I bought this unit I tested it against SVS 3000W sub and a few others, and I bought this purely for the balance of sound quality and size. I have never heard of Goldenear before. Based on the testing (and my subjective assessment), one would have to get quite a big box to beat the sound that this product delivers.
And I don't want to deal with Facebook Marketplace people. My retail experience with MTB community is much better. I bought this unit for $1,400 from Audiolab in May 2022. It's performing flawlessly.
If I can get $1,000 for it, I'll sell it. If not, I'll take it to Europe. Is anyone interested?
Happy to set up a test listen at my house for serious buyers, because I think that's the only way you're going to like this product and I want the buyer to be as happy with it as I have been.
