Here's the product page: https://www.goldenear.com/subwoofers/supersub-series/supersub-x

We're moving to Europe where the current is 220V and this powered sub is 110V only. Of course, I can buy a step-down transformer, which is still an attractive option because I love this sub. But the transformer will take up space, which is limited where we are going. When I bought this unit I tested it against SVS 3000W sub and a few others, and I bought this purely for the balance of sound quality and size. I have never heard of Goldenear before. Based on the testing (and my subjective assessment), one would have to get quite a big box to beat the sound that this product delivers.

And I don't want to deal with Facebook Marketplace people. My retail experience with MTB community is much better. I bought this unit for $1,400 from Audiolab in May 2022. It's performing flawlessly.

If I can get $1,000 for it, I'll sell it. If not, I'll take it to Europe. Is anyone interested?

Happy to set up a test listen at my house for serious buyers, because I think that's the only way you're going to like this product and I want the buyer to be as happy with it as I have been.

Location: Princeton area.

damn, I like my carver, and it is quite a bit bigger, otherwise....

as an alternative, maybe you can trade it in for the high voltage model?

good luck!

Is that the Sunfire? I never heard the carver, but I loved the sound of sunfire subs about 10 years ago...haven't heard one in a long time

Yes. Prob 20 yo. had a carver processor and 5 channel amp too.
watching sports in stadium mode was a blast!

my spouse does not like dubstep, so it really didn't get a good workout - except for maybe some of the top gun scenes that rattle the house.
