only child murderers and terrorists ever ride a bicycle without a helmet... And level IIIA body armor, and fireproof socks, and training wheels and a few other essentials.
I have on several occasions politely told parents that their kids were not allowed to ride with mine if they were not wearing helmets. They seem to understand after I explain that I could guarantee that my boys would most certainly crash into their kids and that I did not want to be responsible for the ER bills. My oldest is always trying to pull wheelies, jump curbs, draft on rear wheels, etc. and suffers some sort of scrape or cut every single time he gets on his bike. Somehow the constant string of injuries does not deter him :hmmm:
