So now the bigger jump line will be the smaller jump line . The smaller jump line has been completely re done and is 2x bigger than the existing bigger side . Not sure when it will be open to public , the builders were actually riding it and using bobcats to adjust and moove dirt .
I agree , as much as I enjoy being able to hit somewhat big jumps most will not . Most people struggle with the existing line so now making one that's twice the size in a public park doesn't make sense . Even the existing line is kinda odd, I can't quit figure it out but it's a struggle to carry speed and the flow just seems off .So they took something that was accessible to 90% of the riders out there and now maybe 5% or less can ride it?
Sounds reasonable. Makes sense.

Unsure of names but left side is staying the same and the right side is now fairly large like twice the size of the existing bigger line . They were also re working the berms on the left side after the third table .It gets super strange after the first 3/4 hits. I kinda gave up trying to clear the last couple with loose turns heading into them. It feels like they just wanted to pack 1/2 more tables on the trails than should've been built.
When you say smaller line you mean Jarlsberg side will be bigger than the Mad Hatter side?

Meanwhile vt keeps building bigger and bigger features at public trail systems
Im surprised it took this long to happen. To the post above, I shall quote myself.
WTF do you think is going to happen when you put pro line features in a local park?
Looks sick , I kinda lost my buzz about kingdom over the years, I have a feeling I'll be adding it back into the rotation of visiting at least once a year again . Along with burke adding some proper free ride features.Public and private. Have you seen the stuff they did at Moose Haven, Flying Monkeys? That shit is big, and all on private land.
Lawsuits go nowhere in VT, which is why they can get away with it.
Kingdom has built some legit freeride stuff. Of course, it's like 5% of the total riding there but still fun.Looks sick , I kinda lost my buzz about kingdom over the years, I have a feeling I'll be adding it back into the rotation of visiting at least once a year again . I think by definition freeride isnt built and manicured stuff.Kingdom has built some legit freeride stuff. Of course, it's like 5% of the total riding there but still fun.
Table tops generally fall in the "safe" category. Unfortunately, "dumb ass" has no specific category and can apply to anyone on two wheels. To the post above, I shall quote myself.

Tomato. Tomahto. 😛I think by definition freeride isnt built and manicured stuff.
It has been confirmed that chains and signs are up. The skills park is closed. Something definitely happened. What I got is that the injury happened a few months back. There was legal action taken and the liability football was kicked around. Eventually it landed on the guy who donated the money to build the whole thing.I send the link to my best friend who lives in Westchester County. He send an email to the county and the county replied very quickly and stated the Instagram post was false and that there are no pending lawsuits. The individual he contacted is listed on the post FYI..🤷🏻♂️
