I've been wearing heated socks for the past 2 winters. They sure do keep my toes warm.
Was thinking about heated gloves, watcha got ?

Which heated socks do you use? I typically ride with snowboard socks until it gets into the 20's then I use the hot hands foot warmer inserts.

Some no name from Amazon. They are a little bulky in cycling shoes.

If it's that cold, I've had good luck with Answer lobster gloves loves and stick a toe warmer on the inside, bottom cuff of the glove.

Never tried heated gloves, but pogies are amazing. A bit of a pain as they're bulky and one more thing to remember to bring to the ride, but so is charging gloves. Always bring chemical hand warmers for those emergency situations like needing to change a flat when your hands are ice cold.

Following this with interest. Reynaud's can SAD. No gloves on the planet are warm enough to keep my hands from going numb.

I tried Bar Mitts on a CX bike until I hit a patch of breakable ice crust and went OTB. Upside is they keep you from breaking your writs when you go OTB and put your hands out to break the fall. Downside is that you end up breaking the fall with your face.

it is so much fun, you won't even notice the cold!

Actually I'm blessed with good blood circulation (I think). While I do not enjoy being cold, even during the coldest ride (6MR 1 year ago, my 3rd ride with the OOS family) a medium cold pair of Peral Izumi and regular socks with my Giro Jackets worked just fine once I warmed up. Keep the body warm, the warmth will spread to the extremities.

Also, I've learnt that your idea of fun is not necessarily the one I have in mind...

I have Raynauds too, that's why I use the heated gloves. I like the glove liners, because then you can use other overgloves in other conditions.

This is what I have. http://us.itselectric.ca/default.asp
