There is an intermediate ride at Chimney Rock on Mondays, and beginner group rides at Lewis Morris on Wednesdays.

You’ll find no shortage of bike options/opinions here..... congrats on the new MTB! You should really ride the Sh!t out of it before you go down the rabbit hole that is n+1. This way you know what you like and what you don’t about your current bike. This way when you demo other bikes you have a realistic measuring stick.
Hey the Jorba fest, Jungle Jam or whatever we’re calling it now ... is coming on the fall (best time to MTB imho) Good time to demo bikes and meet peeps if ya ask me. Joining JORBA’s a pretty good idea too... just say’n.
When’s Jorbafest? Uh, calling @MissJR, she’s way more on top of dates n stuff than I am.
