Latest and greatest sealant?

I am always looking to try out new products. The first tubeless sealant i ever used was Bontrager TLR. It worked well, but left the sides of tires, looking wet, and slimy. I’ve tried stans but was never a huge fan, not sure why. As far as puncture protection goes, I feel orange seal endurance worked great, but at the same time Stans and orange seal dry up relatively quickly, especially if using tire inserts. Other sealants that I have tried are silca and slime. Neither of those do I recommend. What is everyone using currently? Orange seal maybe the answer still but just looking for others opinions.

Make my own. A long time ago, @rick81721 pulled the product sheet on stans and it is basically latex and RV antifreeze, 50/50.

I do get interrogated by my spouse every time liquid latex arrives. I guess it is a thing?
The ethanol or propylene glycol RV antifreeze?

I’ve tried others and I just go back to Stan’s. It’s probably the best all around. If it doesn’t seal, I just plug the tire. It’s extremely rare that I ever have to do that in the first place so I don’t spend much time thinking about it. You can consider my opinion useless. lol

Since we are being told it dries up so quickly you can hit with replenisher through the valve.
I didn’t think you could refill it through the valve. I never do that anyway. It’s much cleaner to just pop the bead and pour in that way. If you go through the valve stem, it gunks up.

Super clean and easy with one of these.

It hasn't been that way for years. When I was at the factory we were discussing the formula in regards to it using anti-freeze etc (not the specifics of course) and apparently it has changed a lot over the years. Partially to improve it, partially for environmental reasons.

Silca is the best but the hardest to work with.
I agree with this completely.

I've been using it for about a year now on all my bikes and it is the real deal. It even sealed a hole on a 90 psi road tire. The valves can get clogged because it foams up and will seal sidewall punctures. You need to be careful not to over-inflate your tires and then let out air because that leads to clogging. I can usually unclog the valves by removing the core and sticking a small allen wrench in to poke it open.

I haven’t had a road flat in 3 years with orange seal.
